Is there a report that shows the tax against each transaction claimed?

There isn't a default report for this, but we'd recommend creating a custom export template in your Account Settings > Preferences section, so you can perform your additional analysis.
I'll share a couple articles on creating the template as well as exporting your expense to the template.
