Use custom header to identify receipts sent to [email protected]
There is an issue with using the "sender" header to identify receipts sent to [email protected] The problem is that auto-forwarded emails retain the initial sender header, and do not pick up the intermediate. Example AT&T emails > registered expensify user > autoforwards to [email protected] The sender header is AT&T. This is the way autoforwarding works. The only way around it is to manually forward. Even Zapier / IFTTT have issues. It would be much better to allow people to add a custom header that is recognized by Expensify. That way your software can do it's thing and as a user I don't have to use some third party tool just to get around this limitation.

You can create a folder for Expensify and it will auto forward email over that looks similar to the email that you place in that folder. Here is a shameless link for a credit if you want to try it out:

I do aggree though, it would be nice to have more funcutionality added into this. Either a private email address (like how Evernote works) or some added functionality that auto taggs based on a subject line. Anything really.
