Can I select a default tax rate for specific expense categories?
Is there any way to specify tax rules for certain expense categories? We have VAT as our default Tax, but for some categories of expense, i.e. Trains/Taxis, we want that to be zero rated. I can't see an obvious way to do this?

We support the ability to make merchant specific expense rules to apply tax, but not category specific rules. I'd love to see you add this as an Idea on the community so that other customers can share their interest in the functionality being built.

Hi @MartinB I've created this as an idea as we would also like to see this functionality. If you get time please search for 'Make tax default settings available at GL account and Tag level' and vote it up. Thanks in advance!
