How to use the API to create expenses on behalf of someone

Hi there,

Wondering if someone can help me out with a couple questions

1. Are the Expensify APIs active ? Are they open or do we need to be an approved vendor/partner of expensify ? We are building a corp travel solution and our customers want us to integrate with Expensify.
2. Outside of using the APIs, What's the easiest way for a 3rd party who has the Email receipt of a booking confirmation for someone else to forward to that person's expensify account. (lets assume that the third party doesnt have delegate access to the traveler's inbox because if they did, then its a no-brainer)

After you have created your Expensify account, head to the Integrations page
and both the partnerUserID and partnerUserSecret will be generated and shown on the page.

I understand there is a security aspect here. Not anyone should be able to forward an expense receipt to some "email address"and have it be added to their expense account . Wondering how do you guys propose we solve for that ? Does the "company" on whose behalf a TMC is doing this need to check of a box somewhere ?

Thank you ! That'll be helpful. Not sure I understand the difference between "specific customer account" vs "software integration". It isnt that different to me. I just need to know what User Credentials to send in the API request ! I'll look forward.

Hi . Wondering if you guys have an update on this ? Specifically, your docs state partnerUserID and partnerUserSecret in your APIs. Can you elaboarate on what these are and how does an application get these credentials. Thanks
