Connection to QuickBooks Desktop

I am trying to update my connection to our QuickBooks desktop. (We have to update it weekly to make sure our new jobs from QB are in Expensify. That way when a crew member needs to attach a receipt, the job will be there.) I go into the policy settings, connections, and sync now. I made sure our Admin QuickBooks was open with no dialogue boxes and I refreshed the sync manager. The sync has said it failed 3 times now. The last time it was updated was 11 days ago. Any idea why our connection is not working?

Hi it's me again! I just went back and checked the connection and it said it was last synced 14 minutes ago. I guess it did work even though it said the sync had failed. Thanks so much!

Hi @LexiP - wow that is really great to hear, I'm so happy it's working again. It is odd that it said ti failed though, so I'd like to keep an eye on it. If you don't mine pinging me again here if you see any oddness with the connection I'll be happy to help.
Have a great weekend!

Hi @LexiP, thanks for posting! Can you confirm how many jobs you currently have active in QBD?
-
Hi @Sheena Trepanier we currently have 135 active jobs in QuickBooks.

Also, is there a way where we can import our new jobs from QuickBooks from an Excel sheet into Expensify? We would make sure the job is written exactly how it is in QB that way when we export back into QB it will read the same. \
Looking back I saw that we actually have closer to 450 jobs being import from QuickBooks. Sorry about that! -
I was reading a support articles and came across this one. Our Expensify does not have an option to "import from Spreadsheet" for our policies. I see I have this option for my personal policy, but I do not need it there. Where can I add that option?

Hi @Lexip, thanks for the info, just a heads up I've shared this with my incredible team members who specialize in our integrations and I'm working with them on finding a solution for this.
Regarding updating the Jobs with a spreadsheet, sadly that isn't possible when directly connected to an accounting package. Even if the jobs match exactly, the QuickBooks Desktop connection (as well as the other accounting packages we support) would error during export and give you a message about the tags not coming from QuickBooks in the first place, sorry about that!
I'll touch base with you tomorrow and let you know any new information I have to share.

Sounds good. Thanks!

Hi @lexip - I wanted to touch base with you and let you know my team made a small change on our end and I was hoping you could give it another go? Additionally, I see you were working with Concierge and it was suggested that you try a complete disconnect and reconnect of the connection. Did that help you out at all? If not, can you give the sync a try now that my team has made their changes and get back to me with how it went?
Thanks!

Hi @Sheena Trepanier I just tried the sync 3 more times and it did not work. I have not tired to disconnect and reconnect the connection. I will do that as soon as our IT guy is here. Let me know if there is anything else we can try. Thanks!

Will do! Thanks so much for all your help!

Hi @Sheena Trepanier I am still having the same issues with our connection. Will you please help me out? Thanks.
