Adding individual categories alongside accounting package GL

Hello
We are using the xero integration to pull our GL categories into Expensify as the expense categories.
Is it also possible to then individually add extra categories where I don't want to create a new GL code? I intend to map the new category to an existing GL code, however I don't want to rename the category that GL code currently maps to as I still need that one for a different sub-category of expense.

Hi @kiernan_vinomofo, welcome to the Community! It's not possible to manually create categories in Expensify when using an accounting integration, sorry about that.
