New American Express Card Issued for employee

When a new American Express card is issued will it automatically start creating new reports in Expensify, or do we need to notify Expensify with the new AMEX account number?

    Hi @KKesler87, great question! Depending on the type of connection you're using in Expensify you'll have a few steps to take.

    If you've connected the company cards via Domain Control > Company Cards using master login credentials, you'll need to update connection to import the new card and assign it to the cardholder.

    If you're assigning card from a commercial feed through Visa, Mastercard or American Express, you'll want to reach out to your bank to have them update the feed to include the new card. Once the bank updates the feed, you'll be able to assign the new credit card to the cardholder.
