How can I track dates submitted, approved, and finally reimbursed?

I would like to monitor our timeliness in getting reports approved once submitted, and in reimbursing reports once they've been approved. Having a column showing those dates would help me ensure folks are doing their job. If there's another way to do this please let me know.
