Sage Intacct and GST/VAT

Hi!
We are implementing Sage Intacct and have got Expensify syncing with it, however we operate in UK, Austarlia and NZ as well and we can't seem to see the GST/VAT that's assigned to each expense on Expensify when we sync it with Intacct? Do we have to manually assing GST/VAT to each line item in Intacct? When we used Xero it did this for us automatically.

Hi @craighadfield, thanks for posting and welcome to the Community. At this time the Sage Intacct integration can import your tax codes from Intacct but the integration will not accept the tax codes back into the system on expenses. I'm sorry for the limitation here but an update to this in the future will absolutely be announced here in the Community.

Hi again @craighadfield, sure thing.

The tax rates in Expensify do not export to Intacct at this time. This is a limitation of the API we use to build our connection with Intacct, sorry about that.

Ok, thanks @Sheena Trepanier - you don't by any chance know if this is in the product development roadmap?

Hi @craighadfield - I checked with my team members specializing in our integrations and we can confirm that adding a native tax field is on Intacct's roadmap, however, we weren't given a definitive time frame for when.

If you have an Intacct rep, I'd recommend just checking with them to make sure that their internal timeline for tax support will work for your needs and when I know more information I'll circle back to you on this thread.
