Hey there!
Unfortunately, we have ceased support for the import of Elan Business Cards as Elan does not have an API that we can connect with.
Soon you will able to import, and upload CSVs via Domain Control but for now you can do this via each individuals account which should help with this issue.
If you would like a more seamless experience, Expensify has partnered with major banks around the world to provide a seamless import of credit card transactions to users' accounts.
Below you can find a list of banks with the most reliable connections in Expensify:
- Bank of America
- Citibank
- Capital One
- Chase
- Wells Fargo
- Amex
- Stripe
- Brex
Alternatively, The Expensify Card is the world’s smartest corporate card in town, thanks to market-first daily settlement, unapproved expense limits, and real-time compliance features that enable the highest spend within the safest limits. You can find more information and instructions to apply for the Expensify Card here.

I hope this helps! 😊

I am curious if anyone can answer a question regarding Elan charges. My agency has individual cards for each person that have been pulling charges into reports on a card user level. In the last month I have found that many of the reports are not cutting off with the same dates as the statement, requiring a large amount of effort and communication with each cardholder to move charges to different reports in order to ensure the report matches the charges on the statement to pay the managing account bill.
Did something change within Expensify recently that has impacted Elan cards, or is this a simple fix I can make to save myself a large amount of time coordinating with each cardholder?

Any updates on how to get a feed or import Business Cards from Elan?

Please note that another way to phrase the company's answer here is: Elan is a small player so we don't want to spend the money to integrate with Elan's API; instead, we'd prefer to push you towards using our in-house payment card, where we will earn the card discount fees.
Just trying to keep our eyes clear here. The value proposition has decreased for us from when we originally signed up. (Despite my profile label here as a "Newcomer" my nonprofit has been using Expensify since 2014.)
Zany's answer did have a helpful observation, that those of us who use Elan may be able to import CSV's. Here's their How-To doc:
