Is there a way for new expenses and new reports not to default to the last used expense or report. I'd like for them to default to a blank fields so my employees have to enter in fresh data every time.

Can you elaborate a little on what you refer to, and what the end-goal is that you're aiming for? There are a few things you could be referring to here, so I'd rather not just go off on a tangent!
The end goal is when my employees creat an expense or report that it does not default to the data from the previous expense or report. I'd like them to start fresh with blank fields every time. Is that possible? Thanks!
Hi @k1224b Expensify is a learning software that will populate categories based on past selections. Unfortunately, this isn't a feature that can be turned off. Can you clarify which fields you are having trouble with? Only report fields and categories use this feature. Tag list should be blank unless an expense rule is setup.
@Nicole Trepanier I am talking about all of the fields in the report. For example. If I go to create a new report my fields of "purpose of trip", "company name", "location" and "additional notes" are all pre populated from the previous report that I submitted. Is there a way to stop that? I dont' want any of those fields to be pre populated when I create a new report. I want them all to be blank so that I can fill them in myself. That goes the same for when I manually create a new expense. Past expense data is prepopulated.
@k1224b One option for the report fields would be to set an initial value of ".". The initial value will override any pre-population.
Hi @Nicole Trepanier that didn't work. Reports are still prepopulating from the previous report data. I even tried to put in the location field for example "Enter Location Here" and it still was populated with data from the last report submitted. Any other ideas?

I agree with this comment/request. another problem is that on the mobile app it is difficult to see this report field "Reason for Trip" - I have sent instructions to users that they need to "Edit" the report in Mobile, but 99% of the people never do, so the reason and company visited remains the same for report after report.
Would be good if we could make this a required field to fill in as well.
100% agree, this is our biggest quality control problem with Expensify.
