Detect currency when scanning receipts
Hi,
I know you use location to detect currencies but this is not always accurate. Problems arise when you scan a ticket in a country different from that where it was issued, if you are offline, if you buy in EUR in an airport outside of the EU, etc.
Most of the times currency is written in the paper. Smartscan is great in depicting lots of info out of the ticket, and this seems much easier and is very valuable.

Hi @Sergi - if the currency code (EUR, GBP) exists on the receipts, SmartScan should already choose that over the location it identifies from your device.
If the currency is indicated only by a symbol, that symbol must be unique (such as £, but not $).
If neither of these are available, the location will be used.
If the location is not available, the Default Currency for the current default policy will be used.
