Delegating approvals to someone lower on the chain of command

Boss 1 submits requests to Boss 2. Unfortunately, Boss 2 is always too busy & doesn't remember to make the approvals. Can Boss 2 delegate the approval responsibility to an Administrator - who is a administrator on all the policies but who reports into Boss 1?

Hi @GSEadmin - I would say that it's more about your company policy if the Admin is allowed to approve or be the delegate/co-pilot for Boss 2. Boss 2 would just need to add the Admin as a co-pilot for this to happen

@GSEadmin -- It sounds like you need copilot access for Boss 2.
Essentially Boss 2 would set another team member as their copilot. The copilot would be able to "copilot" into Boss 2's account and take approval actions on their behalf.
The best part, is that we'll indicate in the report's History & Comment section that the admin approved the report as a copilot on behalf of Boss 2. This means there will always be a clear audit trail of actions taken on submitted reports.
