DIRECT COSTS IN XERO NOT SHOWING

I have just started using Expensify with Xero, and overall it is very good. However, I have hit a road block, in that my direct costs, such as consumable purchases and small freight purchases are not selectable.

We use our credit card for these sort of transactions, and whilst one option would be to make these overhead categories, but the genuinley are not, and I want to avoid the duplicated work and errors that this will bring.

I have solved this!!! You have to go into Xero and then into Chart of Accounts. From here there is a tick box for Show in Expense Claims box. Tick this and then synchronise Xero.

So obvious when you know.

What I will say is good is it does allow you to open some accounts and not others
