A Copilot account alone will not be billed if there is no activity taking place on any reports, but the Copilot will be billed if they take action on a report. We bill the billing owner based on activity, and any report action would make this Copilot a billable actor.

    Hi Nicole!

I have a customer who wants to make a formal complaint about charging for the copilot function, but I don't think this should be escalated to a higher channel. The complaint is as follows:

"I think it’s rotten… for Expensify to offer this “copilot” option clearly promoting it as a friendly, helpful feature for your secretary/ assistant to help assemble your expense report. But then charge full boat for it, labeling the copilot as just another “active” user (but one who is clearly NOT submitting any expense reports on their own behalf.) So now we’re paying double price for 1 submitted expense report, if there’s a Copilot assisting. That makes no rational sense. Kinda of a money grab only, really. I’m surprised more users aren’t objecting to this."
