FAQ - Xero: Why Can't I Export Without a Category Selected?
When exporting to Xero, each expense has to have a category selected. If you don't, you may receive an error like this:
After connecting to Xero, you can view the categories imported from Xero by go to Settings > Policies > Groups > [Policy Name] > Categories.
Categories must be imported from Xero and can't be manually created. You can control which categories employees can see by using the Enable/Disable toggles to the left of the category.
