FAQ - ExpensiError QBO099: Items marked as billable must have sales information checked

If you see the following error when attempting to export, then follow the steps below to resolve it:

1. Log into QuickBooks Online and go to your items list.
2. Click Edit to the right of the item used on your report. Here you will see an option to check either "Sales" or "Purchasing".
3. Check "Sales" and ensure that an income account is selected.
4. Save your changes.
