Not receiving Expensify Emails

I have a message in Expensify that says "We sent an email with the subject "$11.60 of expenses... but your mail server seems to have refused it." This is after clicking the "settings" link in the "we're having trouble emailing you" banner when I log into Expensify. Unfortunately none of the tips provided in the "trouble receiving expensify emails" guide are relevant to the problem I'm experiencing. I've already made sure that Expensify is whitelisted on my server, is there anything else I can do?
