Expensify.org/hunger SNAP campaign status
The number of families signing up for reimbursement has vastly outnumbered the limited funds available. Though we’re unable to provide a specific timeline on when your report will be reimbursed, we’re doing our best to drive donations and keep reimbursements moving forward. Rest assured, we’ll review every report that has been submitted per our instructions.
We're no longer accepting new participants as our focus is on reimbursing existing claims. Additionally, as of July 1, 2020, we will no longer accept new report submissions from existing policy members. Thanks for your understanding!
If you know anyone who can donate to this campaign please direct them to Expensify.org/donate.
We're currently experiencing issues with our American Express and Capital One connections. Please visit our status page for more details and to subscribe to updates.
Deep Dive: What are Karma Points?
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic currently affecting the globe, all Karma Points donations are being directed to the Expensify.org/hunger fund. This fund is currently focused on providing much-needed financial support for SNAP recipients in the United States. More information found here.
Karma Points are a more meaningful alternative to traditional credit card reward points that help make the world a more generous place, one swipe at a time. Instead of accumulating reward points or meaningless perks that you may never use, Expensify Karma Points make a direct impact in the life of someone in need each time you use your card. Expensify will donate 10% of all revenue from the Expensify Card to one of five funds supported by Expensify.org.
As an Expensify cardholder, the Karma Points program costs you nothing and is completely automatic! Every Expensify Card comes with Karma Points built-in and from your first expense, you’ll start to make a difference. Just swipe your card to make a purchase and we'll allocate a donation on your behalf to one of the five philanthropic funds that Expensify.org supports like Homes, Youth, Reentry, Hunger, or Climate. You can learn more about how each donation is allocated here.
