If your company qualifies for the Expensify Card, employees can send a written message requesting an Expensify Card to help manage their company-related expenses. We built this functionality by popular demand of our user base so that your employees can more easily communicate with admins in the product. This should make it even easier for users to interact together!

In case you are curious, here’s the full scoop on this update:

  • Employees may request an Expensify Card through their Inbox (see screenshot below). This request is shared with Domain Admins in the form of an email.

  • Employees can only request a card if they don’t have one yet, and are a member of a company policy that has the Report Currency set to USD ($).

  • To provision a new card, a Domain Admin must set Smart Limits for the user via the Company Cards page. No cards will be provisioned without this action.

  • Domain Admins can view a list of users that want a CC and their corresponding requests by looking for “User has requested a card” in the Company Cards page.
