How do I block credit card advertisements to my entire company?

Hi, @MMIDAHO , thanks for your note! These emails were sent to any employee on a US-based policy to let them know that we have a new feature that's available to request. You'll be able to see which employees have requested the cards should you decide if and when you'd like to use them by checking under your Domains section in your Expensify account.
Just to note, you still have total control as a domain admin to ever enable the cards, or decide specifically which employees receive one, as well as their unapproved expense limits. As long as you never enable the cards, or if you enable the cards and set a user/group of users to a limit of $0, cards will not be received by those employees.

Seems like they want to keep pushing their product the expense of their customers. Since Expensify does not allow you to stop these emails from inundating our employees with something we don't want, we're putting in a rule to block these emails.

Katie,
I understand what Expensify is doing and I think it is in poor taste to advertise the Expensify credit card without authorization. It is like receiving a credit card offer in the mail but through a trusted communication method. This marketing effort damages trust in the Expensify brand and has caused confusion with our users.
My 2 cents...

This same point applies to the home page when signing onto Expensify. Entering expenses is frustrating in the first place. Having this spinning credit card on the home page is very distracting and annoying. Please update the page to something that benefits your customers without all of the distraction.

Hi @Mark_Johnson - thanks for sharing that feedback! Just to clarify, are you referring to your Expensify Inbox?
If so, you should be able to hide the tasks in the Inbox to prevent them from popping up!
-
Thanks @Jason Li. I see that a single click will hide the spinning credit card. It still pops up on sign-in, but is easily hidden. I will continue to look forward to when this add is no longer shown at all.
-
@Mark_Johnson - Be sure to click "I'll ask them in person." That should hide the Inbox task prompting you to sign-up for the Expensify Card, even when you sign out of your account and sign back in again.
Let me know if that does the trick!

@Maddy Lewis That worked. Thank you for that help!

When will this spamming stop? I just had to clear it 20 times it is kept coming back until I enterd something in the request area and clicked send. This is unprofessional. this whole company is unprofessional.
-
@CompanyAdmin I'm sorry about that! The task should have been removed and the emails - stopped when you clicked "I'll ask them in person".
-
THIS! So many times our employees think this is our idea. The suggestion without the ability to turn it off or actually hide it like other tasks is absurd. We are considering moving to a different platform due to the amount of frustration and time this is now occupying of my finance team. It is inconsiderate and a flagrant disregard to the needs and desires of the paying customer. Poor taste, Expensify.

@SCHMatthew you can Hide the card by clicking "I'll ask them in person." I suggest you give it a try!
-
That works temporarily — you have to click it EVERY time the page refreshes.
Its clear Expensify wants the transaction fees from processing payments. Otherwise they’d write a simple line of code to make it a dismissible task — like every other task.
The money grab is gross and insulting.

I'm sorry you feel that way. We genuinely think the Expensify Card is an amazing feature with it's real time expense creation, notifications and reconciliation. It is an integral part of the product which is why it cannot be disabled.
