Change to Report History & Comments section

Expensify has made a visual change to the Report History & Comments section that include:
- The order of comments/history items now goes from oldest-to-newest
- The report comment input is now at the bottom of the comments
How do we get this changed back to the way it used to be? Having to scroll all the way down to the bottom to look at recent history and to enter comments is inefficient. I'm not understanding why you guys would make this change.
Please put it back to the way it used to be where the comments were at the top of the comments and the most recent comments showed on top.

Hey @Dave32, welcome to the Community!
You are correct that we recently rolled out a change to how report comments are displayed. They are now ordered chronologically from oldest-to-newest, with input at the bottom.
For some context, report comments already displayed from oldest-to-newest on the mobile app; this change was made to unify the experience users can expect on mobile vs. web, particularly in terms of realtime report comments.

So why not fix the app to make it uniform with the web version? Seems counter-productive to have to scroll all the way down to the bottom every time to make a comment. Was much better when the comments were on top and were ordered newest to oldest.

Hi @Dave32 With the web already showing comments and as well as the report history from oldest to newest, now both the app and the web are consistent. The thought is that to leave a comment, you should have the full content. Having to scroll past to enter your comment will more easily give you that opportunity.

Stevie, forcing us to scroll thru dozens and dozens of unnecessary comments, which mostly consist of actions taken (such as the report being exported) doesn't make us read the comments. We're very much in tune with all of the comments on each expense report and if we need to go back and look at the history, we could scroll at that point in time. This change is not a good one and makes the product even less desirable. You guys should really consider changing it back.

@Dave32 Thanks for the feedback! This makes it a little more clear that your underlying issue is when a report's comment and history thread is very long, it's time consuming to scroll through. Is that right?
Would you consider submitting an Idea that includes this feedback with a possible solution? Other users could then see the feedback and upvote the idea, giving us an understanding of how impactful this is for our users.

@Alejandro Paz Sure. How do I go about doing that?
