Handling double sided receipts

Is there a way to handle double sided receipts from within the app? I photograph and smartscan all my receipts. But Sainsbury's till receipts are double sided so that the date often appears on one side and the receipt total on another. I'd like to be able to submit two photographs and have them treated as a single receipt but haven't found a way to handle this. Am I missing something ?

Hmm that's quite the issue! The only thing I can think of is using some sort of photo editing app that allows you to create a 'collage' from two different pictures. Then importing that from your camera roll instead of taking a live photo.
Unfortunately though, it seems like that is almost more steps than if you were to just manually enter the expense info and just attach the photo with the majority of the info.

This is becoming more common. What is the official solution? Photos->Multipage PDF->Expensify is a real pain.

Hi @Gary_Ralston, thanks for circling back to this one.
Since we don't support a way to indicate two separate images are the same receipt, I always recommend writing the date or amount (whichever piece is missing from the side of the receipt you're taking a photo of) onto the receipt before taking a photo.
Our SmartScan system will be able to read the handwritten date or amount in combination with the printed date or amount and finish scanning the receipt.
Cheers!

@Sheena Trepanier - I am writing the date, which works... but it's not really the solution. Can someone add "As a User I want to be able to optionally take a picture of the 2nd side of a receipt and add that to the receipt so that I can SmartScan receipts that are split over two sides" to the Product Backlog? Thanks.
