How do I merge my phone number and email account together?

How do I merge my phone number and email together it keeps saying I need to make one my primary login and the other my secondary login can someone please help me

    Hi @Care! Thank you for letting us know - so sorry about that!

    Here are the steps to add your phone number to your account as a Secondary Login.

    1. Sign-in to your Expensify account in the web app at www.expensify.com.
    2. Go to Settings > Account > Account Details > scroll down to Secondary Logins.
    3. Click Add Secondary Login and enter your phone number including country code (+1 for the US).
    4. Follow the prompts to verify your Expensify account and phone number.

    If you receive a prompt that your phone number is already associated with an Expensify account, you'll want to merge the two accounts instead.

    To do this,

    1. While on the Settings > Account > Account Details > scroll down to Merge Accounts.
    2. Enter your phone number in the Email or Phone to merge from field.
    3. Click Yes, I understand this is not reversible.
    4. Follow the prompts to verify the merge.

    Once complete, all the data from the Expensify account linked to your phone number will merge into your other account.
