How to add sub categories in bulk

I have searched the community and found an answer for adding sub categories individually but not in bulk.

I need to add about 100 sub categories. I am wondering if there is a way to import them from an excel spreadhseet or if I need to enter them individually!

I would appreciate any insights.

    Hi @smartDigs,

    You can use the Spreadsheet method to do this quickly - pending you're not connecting your policy to an accounting package which would auto-import all categories for you.

    When creating your categories in the spreadsheet just use a colon after the name of the desired category and then type the sub-category.

    Like this:

    Then, upload that spreadsheet to your Categories page!
