Hi! If you’d like to close your Expensify account entirely, you can do so from the Expensify website. Keep in mind, your unapproved expenses and reports will also be deleted and you will no longer have access to them. If you Reopen the account, your submitted expense data will still be in your account. Head to Settings > Account > Account Details > Close Account to complete this. For more information, check out this help doc.

this account was closed in 2019- why am I still receiving notices and why is the account still active.

Expensify is a total scam. It is impossible to cancel your account once it is open so they will just suck on your credit card until it expires. The cancel function on the website does not work, just puts up the lame "Oops, failed to downgrade your account" and then you realize you are stuck with these leaches for as long as your credit card is valid.

Don't think of this as a community, other than a community of idiots (myself included) who have let this company get our payment details. Spread the word and let us bury this fraudulent piece of existence.

ah yes, and then the concierge will stop talking to you when you say "please just help me cancel the account" instead they say "you agreed to a year long commitment" not ACTIVELY by agreeing to anything but by NOT doing anything. it's worse than a gym membership.
