You won't be able to create a mileage expense by uploading a spreadsheet, but you do have a few other options available - whether on the mobile app or the web.
To create mileage expenses via the mobile app you can click:
Manually Create: Just input the total distance driven, then tap "next". We will then create an expense based off that amount x the mileage rate (per miles or kilometers based off your settings). Finish coding the expense, Save, and you're set!
Odometer: Enter the reading at the beginning of your trip, then the end of your trip. We'll find the distance between the two, then create an expense based off that amount x the mileage rate (per miles or kilometers based off your settings). Tap the camera image to take a picture of your odometer reading, finish coding your expense, then "Save".
Start GPS: Select whether you'd like to track your distance in miles or kilometers. At the beginning of your trip, tap "Start".
To create mileage expenses via the web you can click "New Expense" then:
Manually Create - this will allow you to simply enter a total distance
Create from Map - this will allow you to enter a starting and ending address
To learn more about these settings, as well as how to create a Distance Expense, take a look here.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask!
Thank you for your response, but this manual entry is what I'm already doing. I'm looking for a faster way to create dozens or hundreds of mileage expenses without infinite tapping.
Unfortunately, there isn't a way to create them in bulk and for that I apologize! However, I've moved this thread to our Ideas section, allowing for other customers to vote on this option to see if this is something we could add to our roadmap in the future.
If you have any other questions or need anything else, please let me know!
