Allow Admin the right to update/change policy participants email address.
Unfortunately, this is not in line with the fundamental inner workings of Expensify.
We have staff members using three different email addresses, correlating to the tasks they are performing under our various entities, and for this, we created multiple policies.
However, from time to time, we do change/move staff members and their emails permanently from one to another of our companies. We need to be able to update the email information in Expensify.
Hi @PBeal and @acctmgr, Expensify accounts belong to the user themselves and are private. The company owns the Domain and the Group Policy.
While the user can invite a Copilot to give permission to add a secondary login / change their email address, we're unlikely to make this a task that a Policy Admin can do independently of the account holder.
A Domain Admin can request for an entire domain worth of emails be migrated to a different domain, but not just one or two.
You can always remove the user from your Policy and invite a new user email address, however the user themselves would still need to merge the two accounts together.
So, in short, the user is 100% in charge of their own Expensify account. The only exception is that a Domain Admin can close the user account if they don't have a secondary login.
