Closing business and download of all recipts

Hi
I am closing my Ltd company so no longer have a need for Expensify as my new employer has their own expense app.
I need to keep copies of all my receipts for 6 years for HMRC reasons so would like to download them for my records.
I see that you don't support this from other threads but I don't understand why not this is a key requirement for all accountants.
I have not kept the receipts due to having them uploaded to expensify, if I now have to download them 1 by 1 I don't see the point in this app as it means I should have just kept scanning them on my printer weekly and in a spreadsheet which would have been less laborious and free.

Hi @Mod1980
Our system is optimised for all your receipts to organised and uploaded in Expensify as your central expense storage repository. Even if you aren't on a paid subscription plan, you can still keep your historic data in Expensify for free. When you delete an Expensify policy you're only deleting the set of rules that the report was submitted under. You won't be deleting any of your expenses or reports submitted under that policy.
You might want to consider this instead of downloading them one by one? Thanks.

hi Lauren
Many thanks for your reply, it wasn't clear that the receipts would be kept without a paid subscription but that clears up my concern.
I can export the reports with the links and pass these to my accountant,
I will cancel my subscription, can I also change my email address as I would need to change this to my personal account as I will be closing my company email also?

Great - just follow the steps here to change your email. Feel free to follow up with the team at [email protected] for more specific details on how to set everything up for your exports and links etc. Thanks!

Hi Tom,
I've taken a look at your account briefly and can see you're on an Annual Subscription - we can't go into specifics in a public forum so please can you email into [email protected]?
We've linked your post here to your account so Concierge has all the context.

That doesn't look like a valid phone number. Please try again (e.g. +15005550006)
Tried to call and entered my phone number this is the response that I got !

Hi @TD0220
In order to troubleshoot with you directly and privately (as we'll be discussing specific details of your account and that should not be done on a public forum) you can send an email to [email protected]. Make sure to do this from the email that matches the email of your Expensify account. You can also log into your Expensify account and reach out to Concierge via the in-app messenger.
Thanks!
