Required fields outlined in red

Is there some way to make every tag show up outlined in red for users? Every time an employee fills out an expense, he selects the red-highlighted Category, then he fills in the description, and clicks save. However, the expense indicates it’s still not complete and it directs me to further fill out the next required tag.
It would be better if all required tags were outlined in red so users didn't have to go into the same expense multiple times to fill out the required information.
In this example the Category (was) outlined in red and the description was too, but not the department tag
Then after clicking save, there's still a violation, and then it's outlined in red after clicking back in

Hi @nhoffman94_tob - to make sure I'm clear, are you saying that the out-of-policy items are in fact outlined in red, but only after opening up the expense editor multiple times? Is the description field always the sole field outlined as out of policy upon first glance?

@Greg Schroeder Yes, the first time I open the expense, the Category and Description are outlined in red, but not the Department tag that I have (even though all tags are required in my settings). The department tag doesn't show up outlined in red until I have saved the other information, closed out, and go back in.

@nhoffman94_tob That's definitely odd. Off the top of my head, I'd expect all out-of-policy fields to be outlined - I can't think of a reason why some would be favored over others if they're all definitely required in your policy settings. Can you write into [email protected] so we can look into the specifics of your account more directly and escalate this as needed? Thanks!

Hmm, yeah, I was able to reproduce this on my end; it seems the description field is favored for some reason. 🤔

Yeah I emailed Concierge. I have all these dependent tags set up, which are required depending on what the first tag is. So when I click on the first tag, another pops up below, and that one is not outlined in red. I don't know if that has anything to do with it.

That might be it. Could you go ahead and reply to the Concierge thread with this additional detail? I'm not able to file an issue on this from this platform, but Concierge would be happy to help!
