I have two receipts in a pdf file. Can I smart scan that file and will expensify recognize it as two separate receipts for two separate transactions?
Also what file types are supported by the smart scan?
Hi @nhoffman94_tob - Expensify cannot automatically recongnize two separate receipts in a single PDF file. You can either upload those receipts separately, or create two separate expenses and attach the PDF as a receipt to each expense.
If you have those original receipts, you can SmartScan them using the mobile app or on the website, or forward email receipts to [email protected]. Also, this help guide outlines all the best practices around uploading receipts on the website.
SmartScan supports JPG, JPEG, PNG, PDF, and GIF formats.
Hello - How do I pay for smart scan once I have exhausted my 25 free scans per month?
hi @eodunton if you go to your Inbox in Expensify, you should see a task that allows you to set up an Individual subscription. Or you can go to Settings > Policies > Individual from the Expensify web app!
