How to allocate individual items from a receipt to different categories?

It sounds like you have a receipt with multiple purchases on it?
After the receipt is SmartScanned, each purchase on the receipt should become its own expense in your Expensify account.
You can view each expense on the Expenses page of your web and mobile app.
When you click on each expense, you will see the option to add a category to the expense.
