We are implementing Expensify for Brazil Client and Brazil business expect the central bank of Brazil rates. Need to confirm what will be the exchange rate used in Expensify for foreign currency expenses.
I would suggest reaching out to the Brazil Central Bank and asking if the touchstone Open Exchange Rates converter is applied equally.
Any expenses entered in a foreign currency will automatically be converted to the default currency using the day’s trading average provided by the touchstone Open Exchange Rates converter.
If you wish to bypass the exchange rate, simply add the expense manually and enter the total amount in your default currency. Any manually entered expenses will not be converted until they are added to a report in which the default currency is different.
Thanks but how will i come to know are they using Brazil Central Bank Rate for BRL conversion with Foreign currency. from where i can get that information
