Keeping older transactions from Syncing with QB Online

We recently started syncing with QB online. The issue I am having is that some of my employees have some older transactions that they wait to submit. This means I might get a report with transactions spanning several months. The older transactions would have already been manually entered into QB so we could close the month. Therefore when I export the report to QB online I get a bunch of duplicates and is it laborious to go back through QB and delete them. Is there a way to remove those older transactions from report and force them onto a separate report so I can just export the transactions that I need? Some other solution? I can't be the only person that has run into this issue. Thank you.

Thanks for reaching out, @sjstock! Are users submitting older expenses and newer expenses on the same report? If so, the approver can reject the older expenses back to the user and ask them to create a separate report. If the older expenses are being reported separately, an admin can mark them as manually entered in QBO rather than actually exporting them. To mark a report as manually entered, just click "Export to" at the top and you'll see the option in the dropdown.
Note: You may need to temporarily turn Auto Sync off in order to do this since Auto Sync automatically exports reports upon final approval.
