Can you use the Expensify card to make online purchases via a laptop? If so, will the user still get the SmartScan reminder?

Also, can the card be assigned to a department instead of a specific employee?

Hi @treddick An Expensify Card can only be assigned to a specific employee rather than a department.

You can make purchases online using your Expensify card. You will receive a reminder to SmartScan the receipt as you would with any other purchase.

Coding, typically, simply means to assign a Category or GL account to your expenses. You can find more information on the Expensify Card here.
