Error exporting to Quickbooks - Please balance credits and debits

RosanneRosanne Expensify Customer Posts: 1

Lately, I have been receiving an error from exporting to Quickbooks - which is to please balance credits and debits. The issue seems to be due to rounding when the tax rate (13% HST for Ontario) is applied in Expensify. Could this be fixed by Quickbooks so that the administrator does not need to go in and manually adjust the HST by $0.01? This has become quite a common occurrence.

Hi @Rosanne - welcome to the Community! Hmm, that's not an error message that we come across frequently. I can certainly understand that this would be annoying, especially if it's common for you. I'm not sure if QuickBooks would be able to assist - you'll need to reach out to their customer service team for more information.

Once you do receive an answer, and if you're still running into any trouble, please feel free to reach out to us at [email protected].
