Do I need an expensify account to develop an API?

I am developing an API for a client. The client cannot issue me an expensify account since I am outside of their email domain. Is it beneficial to have an expensify account with full admin controls for development or can I access everything I would need through the client/secret

Hi @KFALKIN - welcome to the Community! It's definitely useful to have an Expensify account, and we can whitelist you for the API if you write into [email protected]. Can your client simply create an email under their domain? This would allow you to be added under their domain in Expensify.
