Does Expensify support discover cards?

Hi,
I am trying to connect my Discover card to expensify and everytime I type in my card's information, I get the following error message:
No Direct Connection
It appears that you have not enabled Direct Connect for your bank account. Please log into your bank to enable this service and then try again here. Check out our Direct Connect guide to see how to set this up.
Ive looked at other disccusions on here, and it says that Discovery does not offer Direct Connect? So I am wondering if it is even possible to connect a discover card to an expensify account.
Any info would be helpful.

Hi there, @pgunter99 ! Thank you for pointing this out to us! Would you mind please sending a message to us at [email protected] and let us know the specific type of Discover card you're using? We'll be able to more specifically help you troubleshoot from there.

I have had the same problem for two years. Just a regular Discover cc. Frankly I've been disappointed as Expensify has never provided any help or direction, nor a definitive yes/no answer on whether Discover is supported.

I am having the same problem with the Discover IT cash back card. Is there a way to set up direct connect with discover?

Hi @dschreibero. Would you be able to contact Discover directly to see if they still support a Direct Connect option? Please keep in mind that Direct Connect is something set up on the bank's side. You'll need to contact them to see if DC is supported, and if so, to have them enable it on your account.

It blows my mind that Expensify's Discover integration has been broken or barely functional for years now and you're asking the customer to contact Discover and figure it out, all the while prominently featuring the Discover logo on the "Connect a card/bank" screen as if the integration works fine??? Expensify does a lot of things excellently, but they sure can be tone deaf or good at playing dumb to certain customer needs or expectations. Either make it work or stop claiming that it works. You can't have it both ways.

@maasj Thanks for your input on this. It's best to troubleshoot these issues directly via Concierge, so we can check the logs on our side. Can you reach out to co[email protected] or via chat, so we can take a closer look?

I just spent over an hour reaching out to Discover only to get this response from them: "I absolutely appreciate your patience. Upon further research, I'm afraid that we don't have to support to assist with Expensify on our end. Have you reached out to Expensify by chance?"
