Can someone Help with Mileage Tracker

We have reps making multiple stops during the day. Mileage tracker however is logging them out once they are paused for a period of time and they lose the information. Is there a fix for this?

One question that has come up a few times already is if the rep is out making multiple stops during the day is there a way to pause the mileage tracker while they are in the call? It seems (which I verified by doing myself) that after your car is stopped for a while the system logs you out of the tracker. It seems cumbersome to log each stop along the route for the day so hoping there is an easier way.
