What is an Expensify Guaranteed E-receipt?

On some expenses I have to approve, instead of a receipt, I see something called an Expensify Guaranteed E-receipt. Could someone please explain what that is?

    Apparently they are called eReceipts, not E-Receipts, which is why a Google search did not find it. The Concierge explained to me that Expensify will automatically generate receipts in certain cases that the IRS will accept. The advantage of this is that employees will not be required to enter a receipt for that expense before submitting a report that contains that expense. Instead, the eReceipt will be used.
