Avoiding Duplicate Transactions in Quickbooks

Probably a basic question:
Is Expensify intended to replace the synchronization of bank accounts Quickbooks? My QB online is currently pulling in transactions automatically from Bank of America and American Express. If I use Expensify (also linked to BoA and AmEx) then I'm getting duplicates. Do I need to sever the connection in QB to BoA and AmEx in order for Expensify to work properly? My books are a MESS right now having installed and activated Expensify.

Hi @MKirchman! While you can use Expensify exports to replace the bank account sync in QuickBooks, a lot of people prefer to use both as a double check for reconciliation. In order to use both, you will have to make sure expenses are exported from Expensify prior to adding them in QuickBooks. You can read more about how to do this here.
