Reimbursement to german bank account takes ages

I use a german bank account and my company is from the US. The transfer to my bank account takes months. I often pay in $ and want to receive € if that plays any role.

Why does it take so long?

Can I somehow speedup the process?

waiting months for my reimbursement is pretty much unacceptable.

    Hi @tclass, thanks for posting in the Expensify Community!

    Unfortunately as Expensify doesn't yet offer any international cross-border reimbursement natively, we can't actually explain why it's taking months for your company to reimburse you, as this will be done outside of Expensify.

    All companies are able to do in Expensify in these cases is the mark the report "As Reimbursed" after they have manually paid it via whichever wire/payroll system they use. For delays here, I'd advise you reach out internally to query this.

    It's entirely possible you could instead go the route others have by using something like TransferWise as explained in this post.
