Unreported User Expenses on Expenses Page (NOT Reconciliation Dashboard)
When my company first started using Expensify in September it seems our policy had a "glitch." All along I, as a Policy and Domain Admin, had access to view individual's Unreported expenses directly on the Expenses page. Screenshot below:

Suddenly, from one HOUR to the next, Unreported expenses were hidden from me. I immediately reached out to customer service believing there was some sort of service outage. It turns out I should have never been able to see user's Unreported expenses, only those that are currently in an Open or Processing report.
It is quite frustrating having now to go through a more cumbersome route of using the Reconciliation Dashboard to view Unreported expenses for a specific user. Instead of just clicking once or twice on the Expenses page, I now have to navigate through more than three links and 10+ clicks to view each users Unreported expenses. More frustrating is that I have to click each user's total expenses which then open in a new window. A new window that looks exactly like the Expenses page access I USED to have.
Given that Expensify clearly does have the capability to filter Unreported expenses directly on the Expenses page, I believe it would be much more efficient and productive to implement this feature instead of having to waste time through the Reconciliation Dashboard route.

First, can you help me understand what you are wanting to see unreported expenses per individual for? Once you get to the Expenses page via the reconciliation dashboard and are viewing their unreported expenses, what are you doing with them?
Secondly, are you familiar with our Scheduled Submit feature? This feature automatically adds transactions to an expense report as they are imported. This makes it so that there is one less step the user has to take in adding the expenses to a report and also gives instant visibility on those expenses to any policy admin. You can read more about that feature here: https://docs.expensify.com/en/articles/8284-scheduled-submit-group-policy-level
Looking forward to hearing back!

0 · Accept Answer Off Topic Insightful Vote Up AwesomeHello @Jenna Hay and @Rachael Hopkins I just noticed now I'm getting the same error of not being able to view my company's Unreported Expenses except for my own. Is this bug back?

0 · Accept Answer Off Topic Insightful Vote Up AwesomeHi @verohaku, can you try navigating to your Company Cards page, selecting a date range on the Reconciliation Dashboard and then clicking on the Unapproved Total?
Can you let us know if you're able to see Unreported expenses listed here? From some testing on this end it looks like you should be able to see Unreported expenses. Thanks!

0 · Accept Answer Off Topic Insightful Vote Up AwesomeThe fact that admins have to go dig for these is a really bad UI. My users sometimes accidentally delete expenses and they go into this mystery "unreported" grouping and they can't find them. The only place the expenses show up is through the Reconciliation Dashboard on a user-by-user basis and then the admin has to add them to a new report to enable the user to see them and categorize for approval. This should be fixed so that everyone can see their unreported expenses!

I'd like to note that everyone can absolutely see their unreported expenses. They simply need to be sure that they have the "Unreported" filter selected on their Expenses page.

0 · Accept Answer Off Topic Insightful Vote Up AwesomeHi @mainspring! As an Admin, you'll see the Unreported filter only when viewing only your own expenses. Just make sure you have My Expenses Only selected in your Expenses page filters:

0 · Accept Answer Off Topic Insightful Vote Up Awesome@mainspring the Unreported status has a privacy barrier on it to protect a user's cash expenses. We can never be 100% sure a cash expense is meant to be submitted to a company for reporting because many users also track their personal home expenses in their accounts. This is why the Expenses page Unreported filter doesn't show you any expenses that are not your own.
The only way around that general privacy barrier is via the Reconciliation Dashboard - which only works for Domains > Company Cards expenses, never cash expenses. Think of the Reconciliation Dashboard as the gatekeeper that tells the system you, as an admin, have the legal right to see ALL expenses related to company cards.
I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have more questions.
