Hello! It would be very useful to be able to map employees to specific classes at the policy level.

What accounting system do you have connected to Expensify, and what scenario necessitates this functionality? The more you can tell me, the better!

We have departments/classes and any expenses of the employee should go towards the department that they are in. It would be super helpful to have this be a field we can assign for each employee so that the employee doesn't have the option to change this.

0 · Accept Answer Off Topic Insightful Vote Up AwesomeThanks for that additional info @Adrienne94 - some of the other accounting packages allow you to set that at the accounting end, so then Expensify just tells the system to use the employee default. We don't have this ability with the QuickBooks Online connection.
Does QuickBooks Online allow you to set a default class for an employee?
