    @acctsupport thanks for the follow up here! I've just had a look at your chat, and one thing I want to clarify are your guidelines under "not acceptable by IRS standards"?

    Remember that SmartScan transcribes the Merchant, Amount and Date on a receipt, and Concierge DoubleCheck will flag if a user changes the amount or date (it will say Amount / Date are different than what was read by SmartScan).

    What specifically do you want to be flagged?

    A receipt that is not acceptable by IRS standards (for expenses $75 and up) would include:

    handwritten receipts

    screenshots of a credit card charge or Venmo payment

    partial receipts (for example: total and date, but no vendor.)

    @acctsupport

    - We do already flag handwritten receipts as invalid. The only exception to this is that we'll accept a handwritten tip and total, if there is a printed subtotal.

    - Screenshots of a credit card charge can be SmartScanned

    - Receipts must have a date and amount, but if it's missing the merchant, we'll enter "Unknown Merchant"

    Do you have a link to where the IRS say that they don't accept screenshots of a credit card charge, or receipts missing the merchant as valid documentation?
