Sending data to Expensify via Google Sheets

I have written a bit of script to send new data from a google sheet to receipts[at]expensify.com. This includes an embedded image of my latest expense receipt. The email displays perfectly in my browser, but expensify does not read it at all. It kicks back an error message every time. Has anyone had any success uploading data from google sheets?
