    Morning All
Hi I am Cheryl, a 3.5 month veteran of Expensify...aka a newbie. Main goal of being part of this group forum is to make life as easy as possible for myself and others. If I have an epiphany I will be sure to share it ...but right now I am chock full of questions.
Just looked at @tylerzoll's post and felt a bit lacking...very thorough..

    We use Sage X3 ERP
Our primary charge card is currently Chase Mastercard/Smart Data
We have about 35 active user at this time.
All of our end users LOVE Expensify
Our goal right now is to try to work thru the admin side to make sure we are audit compliant.

Hi there! My name is Aaron and I'm a member of the Customer Success team at Expensify and enjoy living in San Francisco, CA.

I've been on the Expensify team since 2016 and enjoy helping our customer family learn how to use Expensify while saving time managing their expenses.

My favorite part about Expensify is the time-savings the product provides our customers. It's really enjoyable to hear success stories of expense reporting that previously took precious hours - shortened to minutes.

**A fun fact about me: **
I regularly read Calvin & Hobbes and secretly hope to shake hands with Bill Watterson to thank him for bringing joy and laughter into my life.

Hi Everyone. As the username implies, I’m based in Australia.
This forum is a great way to connect with other Expensify admins/users. I implemented Expensify at our company in July of 2016. Our employees all love the mobile app. I love the fact that Expensify works with us to customized approval workflows, rules and policies. We just don’t use Expensify for internal use; we also have a policy for our interview candidates to use.

Software integrations to/from: NetSuite and Workday
    Employee Headcount: over 2300
    Locations: 7

Hi fellow community members, I'm the Group Financial Controller for an international online learning company with our Group Finance function based in Cape Town, South Africa.
Staff complement: 170 (69 users on Expensify and growing)
Office locations: 5 (in 5 different countries)
    Accounting system: Quickbooks
Credit cards: Mostly UBS (Europe), some Bank of America, some Investec (RSA bank) - about half of our users have corporate cards, automatically paid by the company
Looking forward to learning the tricks of the trade.

@Julia and @tylerzoll I've noted that you most of your employees have corporate credit cards (which are paid for automatically by the company); We follow the same approach. For these corporate card users, I've deactivated the approval flow as the expenses are effectively already incurred when we receive the receipts. Instead, we prepare and share monthly expense reports with the department heads to take note of expense vs budget. How do you treat corporate card expense approvals?

@Mads - we treat corporate credit card transactions like any other expense. There has to be a level of accountability, as well as a timeliness to that accountability.
For that reason, they are reviewed and approved by their direct manager.
Our budget owners don't want to find out 4-6 weeks later that one of their direct reports has been charging expensive flights due to waiting until the last minute to book, or excessively dining a prospect that they know has a low chance of materializing.
It is a crucial layer to keeping honest employees honest.
Also, since the approval flow is typically by person and not by type of expense, who is intercepting credit card expenses that are in Expensify as a reimburseable expense? (can happen for a number of reasons; like the tip wasn't included on the smart scanned receipt, the email from the hotel was an estimated charge and not their final invoice/final charge after local taxes, etc.) I have myself as the final approver after the manager approves the expenses for this reason to catch any of those weird situations.

Hi @Mads - Welcome to the cool club B), it's awesome to have you here. @Julia has shared a really great explanation for why company card expenses should flow through the approval workflow above, so I highly encourage you give that a read.

Hey there! I am the Controller for healthcare tech company out of Santa Barbara, CA. We just broke-up with Concur and rolled out Expensify to our employees this week! Our employees are stoked about the change and the ability to save time with their expenses.

We have about 100 employees that work in 2 offices (the 2nd office is in Atlanta) and some also work remotely. We have several corporate card users as well.

My favorite tool right now is Intacct (accounting software) because of the various external integrations available to us, such as Expensify. We implemented Intacct from Quickbooks about a year and a half ago and have integrated with SalesForce, Expensify, and next month, Nexonia to automate AP processing & approval workflows.

Its a pleasure to "meet" you all and I look forward to learning more about how you can leverage Expensify to save time and make our jobs a little easier.

    Bonnie

Hello. This forum is awesome. I'm excited to get learning about Expensify here. I am a CPA with my own CPA firm (OwenWise LLC) in Orlando, FL. We have been on a mission to become a cloud-based firm. We have accomplished that recently. Simultaneously, we have worked toward introducing cloud based apps and tools to our clients and have successfully been migrating clients, where it makes good sense. Looking to gain a better understanding of the Expensify product, integrations and complimentary functionality. As a matter of fact, I have a client that is moving to QBO and we have determined that including Expensify and TSheets in their tech stack makes perfect sense. Now, I am just trying to understand the best way to demo the full integration of the three products. QBO offers us a 'demo' company, but not sure Expensify has anything similar. I am using my ExpensifyApproved! account for my firm. Perhaps the best way would be to just start a trial policy under my ExpensifyApproved! and tie it in to a QBO and TSheets trial? @Julia or @Sheena or anyone else is welcome to comment here and offer best practices. In the meantime, I will search around. Very happy to learn more about Expensify!

Hi, my name is Guy. I work for an Australian financial services company (Suncorp). We provide banking, wealth management and insurance products and services to Australia and New Zealand. Suncorp is a top 20 ASX-listed company with $97 billion in assets, employing approximately 13,400 people and serve close to 9M customers across Australia and New Zealand. Not all employees are provided with a corporate credit card. A few of us have begun to use Expensify as it simplifies our internal expense reconciliation process - and I love it but, there are sometimes issues with importing cards where is AU based. I'd love for you guys to be able to provide some real-time help for non-US based customers as the time zone difference makes our interactions a little slow.

Hi @piecone! It's great to e-meet you and I'm so glad you've joined our community. We have a small office in Melbourne now, woohoo. We are working to grow it so we can provide faster response times to our customers in your neck of the woods.

We'll always try our best to answer your questions as quickly as possible, but there are times when the time difference doesn't work in our favor. This is when I'd encourage you to post to our community. The community is fantastic, and @Aussiebandit is a great source of information when it comes to using Expensify in Australia.

If you're providing account information, please reach out to us at [email protected] so we can help keep your information private.

Hi guys, I'm Rachael. I'm a Success Coach on the Expensify team, based in New Zealand. I've been with Expensify for about six months, and I've been in the software support game for about 15 years.

I love working with people to help them get the most out of their software solutions. Sure it's a weird passion, but there's nothing I enjoy more then demystifying software (and I suspect a few of you feel the same and that's why you're here to support your own teams).

I'm also a wife/mother/cook and a technophile with a serious podcast + knitting obsession. I love animals and I hate shoelaces. (Those two things are unrelated)

I look forward to supporting my Aussie brethren and also those of you who post at weird hours. :p

    Hi Everyone,

My name is Ellen, I'm an implementation specialist for an accounting firm based in Indiana. We provide outsourced accounting work to various clients from the bookkeeper level through and up to CFO services. We like to use various tools, such as Expensify, to help streamline our client's accounting workflow and reduce the man-hours needed to close the books and provide timely financials on a monthly basis.

My role in the company is to help onboard new clients as they join our company, which includes setting up their Expensify Policy, connecting corporate credit and or debit cards if they have them, and then provide training to all the client users that will have their own Expensify account. Because of the wide array of clients we have, I'm sure no one Policy will be quite like the next, so I'm hoping to utilize this platform to bounce ideas off others who may have similar experiences.

Our firm recently started implementing Expensify with clients versus other similar expense-tracking software, so I am a pretty new user (3+ months). I love the platform and all it's capabilities thus far, and can't wait to gain more knowledge through the Community!

Hi! I'm new to Expensify. I'm interested in learning the thought behind Expensify's statement of "it’s not our policy to offer in person meetings as they are unnecessarily time consuming for both parties." If the client requests the meeting and believes that it is worth the expense to come to your offices, why wouldn't you be open to it?
