Can hand written receipts be submitted since many team members are in remote int'l locations
We are considering getting this product, but am wondering if a hand-written receipt can be used? We have many people internationally that would not get printed receipts,or be able to use CC. They use cash and hand processed receipts. Can they take a picture of a written receipt and then fill in the details manually when processing an expense report?

Our system can accept handwritten receipts and process them through SmartScan as long as there is a clear and legible merchant, date and amount. It's always a good idea to check with your company's internal policy on receipt requirements before relying on this advice.
If you have more questions, let us know. I didn't want to assume you were responsible for making the internal policies regarding receipt requirements, but if you are responsible, my apologies.
