Making Expensify’s Netsuite record creation better
tl;dr - We'll now export the submitter's full name to NetSuite when creating a new Employee or Vendor record.
When we rolled out our updated interface in early 2018, we finally added the ability for users to be known by something other than the email address their employer had assigned to them, or the one they setup for AIM chat in 1998. Up until now, we’ve still mostly kept this information within Expensify (outside from the additional Custom CSV Formulas).
Today, we’ve released a small update to our Netsuite Integration which should provide a lot more context for admins, especially if you’re using Expensify for Candidate Reimbursement where work emails are yet to be setup and familiarity with handles hasn’t been established yet.
Now when Vendors or Employee Records are automatically created in Netsuite, the Record will automatically populate with the First and Last name from Expensify, turning jsmith39@hottmail.com into Jonathan, the sales candidate you need to get back to with the good news.

@tylerzoll - really happy to hear it!

Thanks @Ted_Peeters - Are you going to do the same thing for Xero integration?
For NetSuite - have you thought about creating a custom record instead of using the standard Expense Report record?
