SmartScan improvement?

I find SmartScan quite difficult to use because there is no indicate as to whether the photograph of the receipt that has been taken has come out correctly. For various reasons, it doesn't always but I don't find out until too late, having thrown the receipt away. Wouldn't it be better if the shot appeared on the screen for a few seconds rather than loading immediately so that the user could check it's come out properly?
